Blog is Officially Sims 3 Simmies Dedicated Server!

So I've been a fan of the Sims series for quite some time now, since I was just a ween-teen thirteen year who received for a birthday present. It is only until recently I realized what a phenomena that game really has become because it has ceased to be an EA game but rather a player customized game. EA provides the foundation and the players of the game just takes it to a completely different level, in the sense that in just about a couple of months Sims 3's original EA content is quickly becoming replaced by player made content. With that said, I started making sims of my own because since I am still a noob in this custom content thing, I find it the easiest just to make sims and dress it up in CC!

The first Sim up!

Ashlee Sims

I based this sims on Ashlee Simpson (post nose job) but I still find the EA facial reconstruction too limited...so I named her Ashlee Sims in likeness of her.

Street Petitioners: To sign or not to sign?

So how about those annoying solicitors with their clipboards littered on the streets of NYC around petitioning time? I say walk away...walk away...and FAST too. The best way (in order to have some fun) is walk as far from them as possible on the same sidewalk, so when asked "Wanna sign our petition so we can put candidates on the ballot this year?" I can say "Can't you see I am walking as far from you as possible?!" then a condescending dirty look is needed to finish the job in order to rub off the misery. It is the misery that needs to be spread and I proudly hand that off as I obviously avoid those critters. Ooo if only the city were free of the diseased...

"I am fucking done with this place and these people! They think when they give me a signature they are doing me a great personal favor when really it is an essential aspect of the democratic process!" So how about those assholes/bitches who won't even let you finish your sentence when you ask them to fulfill their responsibilities as citizens of a "democracy"? The ones who walk across the street six inches before they pass you, the ones who use their bags, umbrellas, ect. to cover their faces, and lastly the ones who famously repeat "Not interested," "No. Thank you", "I am going to France in two minutes!" The real question is why such avoidance and animosity? Is there some secret sadomachistic delight in rejecting them? Or have we became so jaded and guarded that we instinctively reject all that has to do with streets, strangers, and signatures?

Oooo if only Babel wasn't like New York
